Synergy Session: Value of Inclusion in Environmental STEM
Synergy Sessions are an educator-driven discussion and presentation around some hot topics trending in environmental education. These sessions will include content and strategies that can be applied to all grade levels. A light meal and beverage will be included. Spring 2022 semester’s sessions will focus on the future of STEM learning and how real-world skills can improve students’ skills. Teachers will get the opportunity to build their understanding of environmental STEM career connections.
David Buggs of TPWD will present on inclusion and diversity in Environmental STEM careers. Participants will discuss the need for students of various backgrounds to see themselves as ready for an environmental career.
The safety of our staff and guests is very important to us; masks are recommended during the program.
