Photographing Butterflies in the Garden
Butterflies are one of the most beautiful insects to photograph. And they’re often found visiting another popular photographic subject, flowers! Enjoy capturing these colorful creatures with your camera as we explore the Butterflies in the Garden exhibit in the lush Conservatory.
Instructor: Edgar Miller is a commercial and fine art photographer and educator, having earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. He’s taught photography and art for the last 20 years. He’s a member of the Texas Photographic Society and the Texas Artists Coalition. Influenced by his late father and his college photography professor, Edgar continues to find interesting light on interesting subjects.

Materials: Bring your cameras, lenses, and tripod. Comfortable clothes are recommended.
