Papermaking with Plants

From plants to pulp to paper – learn how to make paper with plants from the Botanic Garden, specifically invasive plants. Produced sustainably and archivally, we will create paper as it has been done for centuries. In this workshop, you will form sheets of paper from various pulps and learn to make pulp paintings with multi-color designs and images. Along the way, we will discuss the history and development of papermaking around the world.
