My Journey with Orchids

Registration for this event is now closed. Email Crissa at cnugen@FWBG.org for late registration.

Our individual experiences in life combine, sometimes unexpectedly, in a way that defines our own personal journeys. As you visit the World of Orchids, you can attend a free talk given by Charlie Hess and hear about his Journey with Orchids that began in Dallas, progressed in Singapore, was further nourished in the Philippines and flourished as he returned to Dallas and later retired from Texas Instruments. The subtitle of his talk is “Giving Back”.

Instructor: Charles Hess is a member of the Greater North Texas Orchid Society in Dallas, a member of the Southwest Regional Orchid Growers Association (of which the Fort Worth Orchid Society based here at these Botanical Gardens is also an affiliate), Chair of the Association’s Conservation Committee, and a botanical artist with orchid cards once carried in the garden’s gift shop.

Saturday, March 18 (10:00 am – 12:00 pm)

Registration Deadline: March 15

FREE – registration required.

An email with program details, including the location on site, will be sent to all registrants on March 16.
