Learning About Herbs: Basil

Registration for this class is now closed. We hope to see you for another Food & Wellness class soon!

Join us for an evening all about two plants – sweet basil and holy basil! These aromatic herbs delight the senses and hold many special gifts. During class, we’ll have an herbal tea tasting and discuss the properties of these two plants. You’ll learn many ways to prepare and preserve these herbs and will end the class with a fun hands-on activity. You’ll also receive recipes for incorporating these herbs into self-care and food and get tips on growing basil at home. Get ready to bring more basil into your life! Registration includes Garden admission for the day—we encourage you to explore the Garden before class!
