Foraging Texas Book Talk & Signing

Forager and naturalist Eric M. Knight will present an overview of his new book, Foraging Texas: Finding, Identifying, and Preparing Edible Wild Foods in Texas, co-written with his wife, Stacy Coplin. Knight will detail the book writing experience, how to use and get the most from the guide, and highlight some of his favorite species accounts. There will be a book signing immediately following the talk.

Registrants have the opportunity to sign-up separately for one of two short foraging walks held later that day at the Tandy Hills Natural Area; these walks are for book talk attendees only and space is limited.

Instructor: Eric M. Knight is co-author of Foraging Texas: Finding, Identifying, and Preparing Wild Foods in Texas. They run Local Leaf LLC, where they sustainably wild-harvest, process, and sell Yaupon Matcha. Eric is an environmental engineer and teaches edible/medicinal plant classes.
