Drawing in the Garden: Rainforest Conservatory
Registration for this class is now closed. We hope to see you next month!
Eager to engage your inner-artist and learn, or polish, drawing skills? This monthly drawing class offers personal instruction in mastering line, form, shading, composition, balance, and more as you practice in the beauty and tranquility of our gardens. After class, explore the Gardens at your leisure; registration includes Garden admission for the day. You asked, and we listened! Drawing in the Garden is keeping “summer hours” all year long. Class times will continue to begin at 9:00 and end at 11:00 am.
In November, we will stay warm by drawing in the Rainforest Conservatory. This area features waterfalls, begonias and orchids, and many plants that produce our food, herbs, spices, and beverages. It’s a perfect opportunity to capture on paper seven types of Ginger, a Chocolate Tree, a Coffee Tree, a Star Fruit Tree, and a Coconut Palm just to name a few!
November’s class will take place the second Saturday, November 11, to avoid conflict with the Fall Japanese Festival on November 4. We hope to see you at both events!

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, November 8
