Build Your Own Raised Beds

Raised beds are an excellent way to grow on either a small or large scale. In this class, we will look at different types of raised bed growing systems and the reasons why they are ideal for outdoor growing and discuss how to build, maintain, and grow in a variety of raised bed options. The class will conclude with a demonstration of how to build an easy and affordable raised bed on your own.

Instructor: David Cole is currently the Learning Lab Manager and an adjunct faculty member for the Horticulture program at Tarrant County College (TCC), where he has been for six years. David has worked in Texas agriculture for over 20 years in a diversity of fields. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Soil and Crop Science.
