Blessing of the Animals

Join us at the garden for the first annual and universal Blessing of the Animals. Pastor Ginger Watson of Meadowbrook Poly United Methodist Church will preside over the animals, as they will receive a prayer of health, healing, and life for the benefit of the animal and its relationship with its human partners. Each animal will receive an amulet of Saint Francis patron saint of Animals, Ecology, and the Environment. Should your loyal companion have already crossed over the rainbow bridge, you are welcome to bring a photo of your pal and receive a blessing with all the memories left in your heart from your beloved best friend.

All animals should be properly restrained in a carrier or on a leash and everyone is asked to practice social distancing, including wearing a mask. There is a limit of 50-60 household pets and owners.
