Illuminate your home and life! Learn the art of mosaics using stained glass and glass baubles to create your original mosaic glass window. Select your pattern from original designs by your instructor, internationally recognized mosaic artist Tina McIntire--or design your own! In this class you will cut, glue and grout your way to a beautiful light reflective mosaic window. Tuition includes $75 supply fee.

Explore the mystery around the orchid plant family and orchid growing. Discover where and how orchids grow in nature and how to grow orchids on a window sill, outdoors for the summer or in a greenhouse. Learn which orchids are easy to grow and flower for many years in this area, how to repot an orchid, divide orchids with friends, how to water and fertilize and how orchids are propogated by seed. T'ai Chi in the Japanese Garden  * ENROLL NOW *

Quit Smoking in the Japanese Garden  * ENROLL NOW *
One of the best places to quit smoking is the Japanese Garden. The best time to quit, when you think about it, is now. This smoker-friendly class is designed for those who don't want to quit but know they should. Using unique methods that are part of learning the ancient art of T'ai Chi, the smoker will learn to finally overcome his or her dependence on tobacco. Motivational strategies, relaxation exercises, and group discussion will be part of the process of pre-quitting, quitting, and post-quitting. Techniques such as Punching Up the Yuck Factor, Lite Discipline, and Investing in Loss are intended to move the student into the nonsmoking section of life permanently.
