Family Discovery

Join the fun at the Backyard Vegetable Garden with our themed Family Discovery programs!  This program is for children ages 4 years and up and is free to the public.  Two children max per caregiver please.  

No registration required.

Program time is 11 a.m. – noon

Vegetables	Tuesday, June 4	It's summer harvest season! Find out what's "growing on!"
Creek Crawl	Wednesday, July 10	We'll walk up the creek for a look at the watery life of the stream.
Fall Vegetables	Wednesday, Sept. 11	Explore the tasks of a fall garden and discover why people enjoy gardening
Migrating Monarchs	Tuesday, Oct. 1	Learn about the monarch butterfly's migration to Mexico. We'll tag them in our catch-and-release program.
Autumn	Wednesday, Nov. 6	How do you put a garden to rest for the winter? Learn about it!
