The Garden Club Council of Greater Fort Worth sponsors this dazzling display of flower arrangements and horticultural delights. Come and be a part of this unique annual Fort Worth event.
Come look these beauties over and decide which ones you’d like to have in your own yard. An amazing variety of colors and varieties. Not for sale during the show, bulbs may be purchased (and planted) in the fall at the Iris sale.
Estella Flather, in conjunction with the Fort Worth Bonsai Society, offers one hour of information about the history and basics of bonsai design and culture and one hour of hands-on experience at repotting and styling a shohin-size bonsai. Cost is $25. Participants are asked to bring a small pair of scissors. All other materials provided. 817-295-0802 to register.
A delight for all the senses, the Herb Festival fills the Botanic Garden Center with the wonderful aromas of live herbs. Beautiful displays of organic soaps, herbal concoctions, and a variety of tasty snacks are all awaiting you. Indulge! Admission is $3.00, children under 12 free.
Come take the opportunity to get started in a bonsai hobby. Items for auction will include: starter trees and older trees styled by members, bonsai soil, pots tools, bonsai books and magazines, art and other related items. Raffle tickets for items valued at $35 or less will cost $1 each or six for $5, and drawings will begin at 10:30am. The auction begins at 11:00am and will offer trees, pots and related items valued at over $35. Viewing of items begins at 10:00am. Admission is FREE. Call 214-226-5447 for information. Time to break out the picnic basket and relax under the stars while listening to great music provided by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and friends! Described as “Fort Worth’s best seasonal outing” (Star-Telegram), the 20th annual Concerts In The Garden Summer Music Festival offers 19 nights of outdoor concerts every weekend from May 28 through July 4. This series offers a variety of music for every taste, from Elvis to the Eagles to Tchaikovsky’s explosive 1812 Overture, plus fabulous fireworks every night and three nights of Old-Fashioned Family Fireworks Picnic on July 2, 3 and 4!
Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Concerts begin at 8 p.m.
Lawn seating:
$16 in advance and $22 at the gate.
Children age 10 and younger admitted free on the lawn when accompanied by an adult.
Table seating for adults is $23-$43 in advance and $28-$48 at the gate. Children’s table tickets are $11-$43 in advance and $16-$48 at the gate.

It’s a Fort Worth family tradition! Filled with patriotic songs and heart-pounding marches, our exhilarating Independence Day celebration offers one of the best fireworks displays in the area. Artwork exhibited in the halls of the Garden Center. Over 30 different artists displaying oils, watercolors, sculpture, photography and jewelry. Wine and cheese reception during Gallery Night, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

This free event, complete with music and entertainment, is one of Fort Worth’s oldest holiday traditions.
